Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our Westford, MA classrooms. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, lead classroom operations, and support young children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Under the direction of the School Director, you will partner with families and teams to ensure safety, licensing compliance, and positive daily experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong safety and licensing knowledge for early childhood settings.
• Experience creating inclusive, nurturing classroom environments.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence philosophy.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe and well-supervised classroom according to policy.
• Accurately document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors.
• Follow all Cadence Education policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in required trainings and meetings, which may occur outside regular hours.
