KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

You will partner with parents, support enrollment and accreditation goals, and build positive relationships with families and community partners while ensuring high standards of care and education.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
