Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a caring Teacher to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. You’ll lead and mentor classrooms, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment that supports young learners and families.

Required: outstanding customer service, CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years ECE, Bachelor’s in ECE preferred; CPR/First Aid; state qualifications or willingness to obtain; ability to lift 40 pounds; English communication with families.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required.
• Approved state trainer is preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
