Job summary

The Children'sCenter is seeking a dedicated Lead Pre-School Teacher to develop developmentally appropriate lesson plans and nurture cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Collaborate with educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that prepares children for Pre-K and beyond.

You will work with a passionate team, implement Pennsylvania standards, and participate in ongoing professional development to support a thriving classroom community.

Qualifications

• CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (Preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience with preschool children.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes creativity, exploration, and active learning.
• Use positive behavior management strategies to support children’s social-emotional development.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and milestones.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to build supportive partnerships.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom space.
• Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
