Job summary

The Learning Experience – Astoria is looking for a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to guide our classroom for children ages 2 years and older. The role emphasizes creating a joyful, structured, and inclusive learning environment where curious minds thrive.

You'll plan engaging lessons, mentor an Assistant Teacher, and partner with families to support each child’s growth in language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program (REQUIRED).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed daycare or childcare center (REQUIRED).
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication and classroom leadership skills.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and state compliance requirements.

The Learning Experience of Astoria is searching for a passionate, dependable, and energetic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide our preschool classroom of children ages 2 years and older. What You'll Do
