The Learning Experience – Astoria is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a safe, nurturing classroom.

You will assist Lead Teachers, implement hands-on activities, help with routines, meals, and daily care, and build positive relationships with children and families. This full-time role rewards teamwork, compassion, and growth in a lively early-education environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $16.50–$18.00/hour

Shift options may vary based on classroom needs (8:00–5:00, 8:30–5:30, or 9:00–6:00).

Whether you're supporting our infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive every day.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside our Lead Teachers to help create meaningful learning experiences while ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and loved.
