About Us:

Located in Arvada, Colorado, Primrose School at Candelas is an accredited private preschool offering a premier educational childcare experience. We serve children from infants through elementary school age with year-round programs. We are seeking an energetic, fun individual for a Lead position in our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms.

Position Overview:

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will help plan and implement activities promoting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, following the Primrose Balanced Learning approach.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay ranges from $19.25 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

• Full Time
• Operations hours are 6:30am-6:00pm with flexible shifts

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily class functions
• Assess each child's developmental needs
• Implement lesson plans and classroom schedules
• Coordinate with Assistant Teachers and the Director for parent conferences and evaluations
• Attend staff meetings and school functions
• Comply with health, safety, and care regulations

Requirements:

• Must be Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualified
• Pass all background checks
• Ability to lift infants properly and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical activities like walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, bending, and crouching
