The Goddard School in Castle Rock is seeking a kind and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher. You will work with an amazing co-teacher who loves to collaborate and share best practices. Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:
  1. Curriculum and Instruction: lead dynamic inquiry-based learning activities, nurture development of a lifelong love of learning
  2. Classroom Management: managing daily routines in a safe, nurturing environment
  3. Family Communication: maintain effective communication with families regarding their child's progress and daily activities
  4. Health and Safety: ensure cleanliness and orderliness, adhere to health & safety guidelines
  5. Professional Development: participate in ongoing development & training, collaborate and share ideas and strategies

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • 1-2+ years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
  • Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty
  • Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with handling children
