Job summary

Primrose School of Manhattan is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher for 2-5 year olds at East 82nd Street. You will create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule that develops children's confidence and independence, guiding them through small group instruction and content comprehension.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (MS preferred), 2 years of classroom teaching, CPR/First Aid certification, and a NYS B-2 certificate or plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• MS in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Valid NYS B-2 Teaching Certificate or study plan eligible.
• 2 years of classroom teaching experience required.
• CPR / First Aid certified required.

Responsibilities

• Lead preschool instruction for 2-5 year olds.
• Implement Balanced Learning curriculum with co-teacher.
• Maintain a well-kept classroom and safety.
• Build relationships with children and families.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt to individual needs.
