Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a PreOp/PACU Charge Nurse for the USPI Surgery Center of Boerne. The role supports a small surgical suite with 3 OR rooms and 2 treatment areas, coordinating a weekday schedule with no holidays or weekends.

Strong leadership and Preop/PACU experience are essential to maintain smooth case flow. The nurse will supervise staff, manage monthly schedules, participate in staff education, and liaise with physicians and vendors to ensure compliance and

Qualifications

• Active Texas nursing license.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum 1 year nursing leadership experience.
• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Preop/PACU staff for smooth case flow.
• Prepares monthly schedules.
• Coordinates and conducts staff meetings.
• Communicates with physicians to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Assists with education and in-services.
