Livingston HealthCare seeks a qualified Childbirth Educator (CE) to promote and deliver evidenced-based childbirth and baby care education to obstetric patients. The CE develops and maintains curricula, evaluates programs, and leads a team of educators within Women’s Health.

This PRN role includes evenings and Saturdays, with wages based on credentials and a PRN differential. The CE collaborates with the FBC Supervisor and Women’s Health team to set goals aligned with patient care needs and

Qualifications

• College degree and/or certification as a childbirth educator (ICCE) or RN with obstetric experience.
• Leadership abilities demonstrated in healthcare settings.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Teach childbirth classes using current curriculum and update as needed.
• Assess learner needs and adapt teaching strategies for class participants.
• Maintain and synthesize evidence-based curriculum for families.
• Collaborate with obstetric and Women’s Health teams to plan objectives.
• Manage scheduling and materials for education classes and programs.
• Support staff engagement and team collaboration within the birth center.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and infant care education.
