Job summary

Bryan Construction, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a seasoned Preconstruction Manager to lead budgeting, estimating, and constructability reviews from pursuit to award.

You will drive preconstruction success with a coordinated approach across stakeholders. Work with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to develop preconstruction deliverables, identify risks, and provide recommendations that support cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Senior Estimator or Project Manager.
• Experience using estimating forms and software.
• Experience using estimating takeoff tools.
• Ability to review and analyze proposals and bids.
• Experience with scheduling and bid invitations.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop Estimators and Senior Estimators.
• Oversee the full preconstruction lifecycle from pursuit through award.
• Direct RFP strategy, messaging, and content with the proposal team.
• Coordinate bid documents, bid day activities, and interviews.
• Review drawings, specs, and RFPs for accuracy.
• Develop pre-bid schedules and manage RFIs with design teams.
• Prepare and present proposal packages to owners.
