Job summary

Green Key Resources client, a fully integrated developer and general contractor specializing in design-build industrial construction across Illinois, seeks an experienced Superintendent. The role focuses on ground-up light industrial projects with emphasis on precast concrete and tilt-up operations, safety, quality, and on-time delivery, including a majority of cold storage work.

You will lead on-site activities, develop schedules with the Project Manager, coordinate subcontractors, ensure OSHA

Qualifications

• 10+ years of superintendent experience on ground-up commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience leading precast concrete or tilt-up construction is required.
• Experience delivering light industrial facilities like warehouses or manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for ground-up industrial projects in Illinois.
• Manage project schedules with PMs and subcontractors to ensure milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance on site.
• Conduct site walks, quality inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Resolve field issues to minimize schedule delays and maintain QC/ reporting.
• Oversee inspections, commissioning, punch lists, and closeout.
