Responsibilities include developing weekly lesson plans, implementing curriculum, maintaining child portfolios, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Degree in early childhood education or related field, or equivalent with 12 ECE credits.
• Ability to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans using current curriculum guides.
• Implement curriculum weekly and align with classroom schedule and routines.
• Establish a professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of every child and maintain an organized, clean classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences.
• Demonstrate physical ability to work around children and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Carry out daily classroom responsibilities related to child care.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field

Alternate: Associate's or Bachelor's with 12 ECE credits or equivalent
