Job summary

Qualifications

• DESE and/or State Licensure in appropriate field.
• Six or more years of successful teaching/therapy/interventions for students with disabilities, exceptional written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, familiarity and experience with screening, diagnostic, and assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead morning classroom sessions and assist in afternoon sessions.
• Assist in assessing students in all areas of suspected disability.
• Support intervention services for pre-K students identified by screening/referral.
• Consult with community-based prekindergarten programs on student progress.
• Stay current in new diagnostic assessments and technology.
• Participate in IEP TEAM meetings regarding assessment data and IEP development.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state policies and timelines.
• Provide training to parents on evaluation and assessment processes.
• Collaborate with Prekindergarten Diagnostic and Intervention Team.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
