Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a 2nd shift team member to assist the Supervisor in coordinating daily department tasks in a debone operation. You will help communicate instructions, monitor equipment, and support safe, compliant production with USDA, HACCP standards.

You may relieve line personnel as needed, participate in staffing decisions based on workload and attendance, and ensure housekeeping and break coverage in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have six months of Lead experience with single employer within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation.
• Monitor all equipment and notify supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Ensure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met in area.
• Make staffing decisions based on product flow, mix and attendance.
• Relieve line personnel as needed and provide coverage during breaks.
• Maintain general housekeeping and wash down at breaks.

Job Synopsis

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation. Job Synopsis: Primary tasks include department set-up; ensure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met in area. Assist supervisor with monitoring shoulder cuts, mechanical issues with debones and meat supply. Make decisions on staffing assignments based upon product flow, product mix and attendance. Other responsibilities include relieving line personnel as needed, fill-in for absenteeism as necessary, wash down at breaks, and insure general housekeeping. Fill in for Supervisor in their absence.

Requirements
