Job summary

Dana Incorporated in Indiana seeks a Quality Engineer – PPAP to lead PPAP activities for new product launches, engineering changes, and supplier changes. You will drive APQP, launch readiness, and process validation to ensure conformity with IATF 16949 and AIAG tools.

This role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, and Customer Quality to ensure successful product launches while maintaining strict quality standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
• 7+ years of experience in quality preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
• Experience supporting PPAP submissions, APQP activities, customer launches, or manufacturing quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPAP packages: preparation, review, submission, and approval.
• Support APQP activities and launch readiness reviews.
• Develop and maintain Process FMEA, Control Plans, and CPk/Cp analyses.
• Lead MSA studies including GR&R and calibration support.
• Interface with customers on PPAP approvals and launch-related issues.
