Job summary

Selinc is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead protection and automation projects in the United States. You will design, configure, validate, install, commission, and operate protective relays and automation systems while guiding junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong communication skills, travel (25%+), and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in electric power systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of protection, control, automation, communications, and integration technologies.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 25%).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, validation, installation, and operation of protection and automation systems.
• Serve as technical leader to ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
• Provide training and support to customers during projects.
• Develop technical proposals, estimates, and customer solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs.
• Mentor engineers and supervise when needed.
• Support business objectives through innovation and customer-focused service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
