Yancey Bros. Co. in Georgia seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the EPG engineering team, directing design, standards, and resource allocation for power generation and distributed energy projects.

The role partners with sales, project management, service, operations, and Caterpillar to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions, while driving quality and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience in power generation or distributed energy.
• 3+ years in engineering leadership or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of power generation, electrical distribution, controls, energy storage, and related systems.
• Experience leading a technical team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the engineering team to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee projects from concept through commissioning and closeout.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and processes.
• Coordinate with sales, project management, service, and vendors.
• Manage technical risk and ensure compliance with codes.
