Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead power generation and distributed energy projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate with sales, project management, service and operations to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background, CAD/engineering design proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills to support diverse projects in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with power generation or distributed energy projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering aspects from concept through design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Review technical designs, diagrams, layouts, specifications, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Provide technical support to sales, project management, service, and operations teams.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Identify technical risks and maintain project schedules and budgets.
