Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to join our Mission Systems design team. You will develop state-of-the-art power supplies for military applications, perform design trades, and lead hardware development in a lab environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years (or higher degrees with corresponding experience), active US Secret clearance, and hands-on experience in power systems and high‑voltage design. Travel: up to 10%.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of hands-on power supply experience.
• Active US Government Secret clearance required.
• Experience with isolated/non-isolated topologies and control techniques.
• Experience with SPICE-like simulation tools and MathCad.

Responsabilidades

• Design power supply hardware, including schematic development and PWB layout.
• Conduct design trade studies to optimize performance.
• Perform worst-case and stress analysis for reliability.
• Provide manufacturing support and resolve production issues.
• Develop ATPs and perform initial hardware checkout.
• Work in a lab environment to support development and production.
