Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer, Power Design in Austin, TX to drive advanced power delivery architectures and create robust schematics and system specifications.

You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee power tree design, BOMs, and board layout, and guide power bring-up from concept through manufacturing. The role requires deep expertise in high-current, low-voltage power subsystems for CPU/GPU/SoC/FPGA, with strong communication skills for internal customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert in power design with experience on DC/DC converters, load switches and magnetics.
• Design, develop and implement technical solutions for complex power projects.
• Experience in high-current, low-voltage subsystems for CPU/GPU/SoC/FPGA.
• Familiar with PCB stack-up, power planes and circuit simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead schematic design, BOM management and power tree development.
• Drive power bring-up, debugging and manufacturing support for deployment.
• Provide technical guidance to Staff and Senior engineers in power design.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews with manufacturing, test, reliability and supply chain.
