Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Powder Coat Painter to oversee daily coating operations and mentor the team. You will ensure surfaces are prepared, coated, cured, and inspected to meet customer specifications and our quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in powder coating or related manufacturing, proven leadership, and the ability to read blueprints. You will train staff, troubleshoot issues, and uphold safety and production goals in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of powder coating or related manufacturing experience.
• Previous leadership or training experience.
• Strong knowledge of powder coating processes and quality standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Ability to wear a respirator when required.
• PFT and FIT tests required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily powder coating operations to meet production schedules.
• Train and guide painters and production team.
• Prepare parts and fixtures for coating.
• Operate and monitor coating equipment and curing ovens.
• Adjust flow, viscosity, and settings for quality finishes.
• Inspect finished parts against specs.
• Troubleshoot defects and equipment issues.
• Coordinate workload to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Assist with inventory management and production reporting.
