Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Powder Coat Supervisor to lead a dedicated coating team on a hands-on, on-site role. You will ensure quality, safety, and throughput while coordinating with the Production Manager to meet daily schedules.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with powder coating, at least 2 years of supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving skills. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with hands-on powder coating experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner.
• Welding experience helpful, but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills a plus.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work 40 to 50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the powder coat team and coordinate daily activities to meet the production schedule.
• Work with the Production Manager to achieve production goals and mitigate delays.
• Plan and delegate tasks to shift personnel and ensure smooth workflow between departments.
• Train new powder coat employees and monitor quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot production problems and minimize waste while maintaining throughput.
