The role requires 4+ years in plumbing, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years in plumbing or Plumber I.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose complex issues or defects.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
