Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Fairfax, VA seeks a Journeyman Plumber to lead plumbing projects, installations, repairs, and maintenance. You will analyze blueprints, ensure code compliance, and supervise junior plumbers while coordinating with clients and team members on timelines and progress.

The role requires extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, strong leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and progress.
• Stay updated with industry regulations and trends.
