Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Plumber I or 2-4+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs and maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems incl. pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes; weld or join pipes using approved methods.
• Inspect plumbing systems to diagnose complex issues; troubleshoot effectively.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials; keep project records up-to-date.
• Stay updated with industry trends and safety regulations.
