Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC is seeking an experienced Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. You will interpret blueprints, ensure code compliance, estimate materials and labor, and supervise junior plumbers.

A strong leader with a solid knowledge of regulations is essential. The role requires 2+ years in plumbing, independent work capability, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in plumbing.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues or defects.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations.
