Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Ft. Myers, FL is seeking a Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, installations, remodeling, repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems.

You will interpret blueprints, analyze specifications, plan layouts, and ensure safety and code compliance on every job. The role requires strong problem-solving, leadership to supervise junior plumbers, ability to estimate materials and labor, coordinate with clients and suppliers, and the stamina to work in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Plumber I or 4+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues or defects.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations.
