Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of foreman experience.
• Preferred technical training or associate degree.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs assembly, installation and repair of plumbing systems on commercial and industrial projects.
• Oversees project planning, schedules, manpower requirements and staffing decisions.
• Coaches and mentors craft workers and verifies staff certifications when scheduling.
• Inspects work for conformance to specifications and safety.
• Coordinates materials, tools and supplies and verifies submittals match deliveries.
• Identifies conflicts in contract documents and assists on-site operations.
