Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include technical training or an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates, inspects and performs the assembly, installation and repair of components, subsystems and systems for plumbing during construction or remodel.
• Oversees schedules, manpower requirements and staffing decisions based on equipment knowledge.
• Coaches and mentors craft workers and coordinates activities on site.
• Inspects work in progress and completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Ensures safety by identifying hazards and performing safety observations.
• Manages material placement, storage and inventory to support the construction plan.
