Job summary

IES in Indianapolis is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead field crews through rough-in to final inspections, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will review plans, coordinate with managers and inspectors, and drive material, tool, and documentation workflows on active construction sites. Strong leadership and plumbing expertise are required, with readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous plumbing experience required with knowledge of installation and field operations.
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered; license or credentials preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing crews, assign daily work, monitor productivity, and ensure project schedules are met.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and scope documents to ensure installations meet codes and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, vendors and field personnel for efficient workflow.
• Monitor site safety, workmanship, quality, and troubleshoot field issues as needed.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment to support daily field operations and minimize waste.
• Prepare installations for inspections and address inspection-related items.
• Track progress and communicate delays, material needs, change orders, and field issues to management.
• Maintain job site documentation and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
