Job summary

RQ Construction seeks a Plumbing Trade Foreman to lead plumbing crews on job sites in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will oversee day‑to‑day activities, organize manpower, materials, and equipment, and ensure work aligns with plans, specs, and safety standards.

You will maintain daily reports, coordinate with project leadership and subcontractors, and drive progress while keeping projects on schedule and within budget, reinforcing RQ’s safety and ethics commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of plumbing or general construction field/trade experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Plumbing Foreman on medium to large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews on the jobsite.
• Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment to support project milestones.
• Monitor work progress and ensure installations meet project plans, specifications, and applicable requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Identify and address field challenges while keeping work on schedule and within budget.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Provide hands-on leadership while maintaining RQ’s commitment to Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline.
