Job summary

RQ Construction is seeking an experienced Plumbing Trade Foreman to lead plumbing crews on DoD construction projects in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will manage daily field operations, ensure work aligns with designs, safety standards, and project schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years as a Plumbing Foreman, 3+ years plumbing/construction experience, and certifications like OSHA 30 and CPR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Plumbing Foreman on medium to large-scale projects.
• 3+ years of plumbing or general construction field/trade experience.
• Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
• Design-Build experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with daily reports, project documentation, and look-ahead planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required; training may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews on the jobsite.
• Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment to support project milestones.
• Monitor work progress and ensure installations meet project plans, specifications, and applicable requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and look-ahead schedules.
• Identify and address field challenges while keeping work on schedule and within budget.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with project leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Provide hands-on leadership while maintaining RQ's commitment to Safety, Ethics, Innovation, People, Teamwork, and Discipline.
