You will maintain daily reports, coordinate with project leadership and subcontractors, and drive progress while keeping projects on schedule and within budget, reinforcing RQ’s safety and ethics commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of plumbing or general construction field/trade experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Plumbing Foreman on medium to large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews on the jobsite.
• Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment to support project milestones.
• Monitor work progress and ensure installations meet project plans, specifications, and applicable requirements.

Plumbing Trade Foreman

Since 1996, RQ Construction, LLC has grown into a nationally recognized Design-Build contractor delivering complex construction projects across the country. With a strong presence in the Department of Defense (DoD) market, our teams take pride in delivering quality projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Trade Foreman to join our Field Operations team in the Jacksonville, FL area. This position will provide hands‑on leadership and oversight of plumbing crews while ensuring work meets project specifications, quality standards, schedule requirements, and safety expectations.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $49.09–$57.00 per hour, depending on experience. Pay is subject to applicable Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage rates specific to each project/base.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Plumbing Foreman on medium to large‑scale projects.
• 3+ years of plumbing or general construction field/trade experience.
• Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
• Design‑Build experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with daily reports, project documentation, and look‑ahead planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS certifications required; training may be available.
