Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced Plumber for Plant Operations at our Gainesville facilities. The role involves installing, repairing, replacing, and inspecting plumbing systems to support hospital operations with minimal downtime.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, and five years of plumbing experience in lieu of licensure; a State Plumbing License for Plant Operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience in lieu of license.
• Knowledge of blueprints and plumbing system layouts.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply project design blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace, and inspect pipes, fittings and fixtures.
• Supervise helpers and apprentices; assign daily tasks.
• Maintain tools and inventory; coordinate material needs with supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with Georgia State Plumbing code and project specs.
• Document repairs and parts; read and interpret blueprints for installations.
