Job summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Lead Plumber. The role includes installing and maintaining plumbing systems, overseeing journeyman plumbers, and ensuring compliance with codes. The workweek is Monday–Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with responsibilities across tenant facilities and labs.

The position is covered by the Local 99 CBA, offering competitive salary and benefits under the agreement.

Qualifications

• Must have current Backflow Preventer Certification.
• Three to six years of direct backflow preventer experience.
• Must possess a Master Plumbers License.
• Skilled use of wrenches, pipe cutting and threading tools, metal saws and other similar tools of the trade.
• Proven in-depth knowledge of related building codes, regulations and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pipe systems for water, steam, waste, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Respond to tenant requests for repairs to toilets/restrooms and sewer lines using motorized equipment.
• Repair and installation of all plumbing related equipment; service and maintain grease traps and separators.
• Lead the completion of PM tasks and maintain records for assigned areas.
• Submit plumber reports for all work done as required.
