Job summary

EMCOR Government Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Plumber to manage plumbing tasks, install pipes and fixtures, and ensure compliance with plumbing codes. The role includes supervising journeyman plumbers and coordinating work schedules.

The position operates Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with responsibilities covering maintenance, repairs, and compliance under the Local 99 CBA. Experience with PMs and reporting is essential.

Qualifications

Must have current Backflow Preventer Certification.
Three to six years of direct backflow preventer experience.
Must possess a Master Plumbers License.

Responsibilities

Responsible for pipe systems for water, steam, waste, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Respond to tenant requests for repair and repaid of toilet/restroom facilities, cleaning of stopped drains and sewer lines requiring the use of motorized equipment.
Repair and installation of all plumbing related equipment; service and maintain grease traps; service oil/gas separators.
Lead the completion of all PM and record keeping assigned to areas of responsibility.
Submit as required plumber’s reports for all work done.
Respond to emergencies at any time.
