Job summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Plumber for a part-time role in Germantown, MD. The schedule is Saturday 2:00pm–10:00pm, and the role is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

You will install, maintain, and test pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, drainage, and gas systems in accordance with codes and project specs. Requirements include a Journeyman Plumber’s License and the ability to obtain an L-level security clearance; prior experience with commercial

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber’s License required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an L level security clearance.
• Prefer 6 years’ plumbing experience.
• Prefer 2 years with journeyman plumbing and gas license.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; CMMS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Identify plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs per work orders.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specs for layout of plumbing systems.
• Plan, install and service plumbing systems and test for leaks.
• Maintain records on material and labor used and inventory of tools.
