Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced PLM Architect to co-lead the design and implementation of a new Product Lifecycle Management system. This high-visibility, greenfield role requires partnering with Supply Chain Transformation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to shape the PLM target state and governance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in PLM, 5+ years in architect roles, and hands-on experience with major PLM platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of PLM experience, with 5+ years in architect/lead role.
• Led at least one full-cycle PLM implementation, not just admin/support of existing system.
• Hands-on expertise with one or more major PLM platforms.
• Strong understanding of PLM data models: BOM, item/part structures, change mgmt (ECR/ECO), document control, revision practices.
• Solid data migration knowledge and legacy decommissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder management, translating architecture to business needs.
• Strong documentation skills, including architecture diagrams and specs.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead end-to-end architecture and design for a new enterprise PLM system, including data model, workflow, integration, and security.
• Translate requirements into scalable PLM architecture with Transformation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Define requirements and oversee integrations between PLM and ERP, MES, CAD/CAM, QMS.
• Establish data governance standards (item/part numbering, BOMs, change workflows, revision control).
• Lead design reviews and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Guide data migration strategy and validation from legacy systems to the new PLM.
• Identify opportunities for standardization and automation across the product lifecycle.
• Define and enforce PLM standards, governance policies, and documentation practices.
• Act as primary technical escalation point during implementation.
• Mentor junior architects, analysts, and admins on PLM best practices.
