Job summary

Cascades is seeking a Controls Specialist - Tissue Converting Equipment to lead automation efforts across multiple tissues facilities. You will troubleshoot, optimize and standardize PLC-based controls and motion systems, enabling reliable production and continuous improvement.

You will work with engineering, maintenance and operations to drive safety, quality and efficiency, mentor local teams, and travel regularly to support sites nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing engineering.
• Advanced PLC programming with Rockwell Automation.
• Deep knowledge of motion control systems and servo drives.
• Experience troubleshooting complex automation in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls for Tissue converting operations across multiple facilities.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues affecting safety, quality and reliability.
• Program, modify and optimize PLC systems using Rockwell Automation and Siemens platforms.
• Drive standardization and best practices across the Tissue network.
