Job summary

Salesforce seeks a deeply technical security-focused software engineer to lead end-to-end security data pipelines, from ingestion to canonical stores and downstream consumers. You will own system design for endpoint protection platforms, drive reliability, and mentor teammates through reviews and architectural discussions.

You will collaborate with security architects and platform teams to ensure clean integration and proactive defense, while delivering scalable architectures and documentation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of core software development experience across multiple languages and platforms.
• Strong foundation in database engineering, API development, and data pipeline construction, including event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering large, multi-release software projects end-to-end.
• Proven experience with infrastructure hardening and operational reliability (alerting, MTTR reduction).
• Ability to design systems at scale with architecture reviews, design docs, and cross-team alignment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Salesforce cloud infrastructure remains secure across networks, apps, and data.
• Audit cloud infrastructure against industry standards and drive uplift plans.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, operations, and product teams to architect and protect infrastructure and apps.
• Serve as a hands-on technical specialist for complex security work and threat defense.
• Architect, configure, deploy, and manage technologies to prevent intrusions and defend against adversaries.
