Job summary

Klaviyo seeks a highly technical Lead Product Manager to set vision, strategy and execution for the Data Ingestion Platform. This platform PM role combines architectural depth with long-range product planning to drive measurable outcomes across distributed systems.

You will define the ingestion roadmap, partner with engineering to build scalable pipelines, and drive alignment on data platform strategy. Boston office, 5 days/week participation required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Lead or Senior Platform Product Manager in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or developer platforms.
• Deep understanding of data architecture and large-scale systems; experience with event-driven ingestion pipelines or complex data movement.
• Technical fluency to discuss pipelines, infrastructure, and system evolution at strategic and detailed levels.

Responsibilities

• Set the Vision: define the long-term mission and ownership boundaries for a newly formed team.
• Own the Roadmap: maintain a high-impact roadmap balancing foundational investments with active initiatives.
• Drive Ingestion Strategy: define strategy for ingesting large data volumes from multiple sources.
• Partner with Engineering: design scalable, resilient ingestion systems with attention to performance, latency, cost and reliability.
• Accelerate with AI: institutionalize AI and automation to reduce toil and improve observability.
• Deliver Measurable Outcomes: establish metrics to validate impact and guide prioritization.
• Champion Quality & Reliability: improve observability and reliability for ingestion systems.
• Scale for the Future: drive architectural simplifications for platform health and scalability.
• Build for Collaboration: enable transparency and feedback with engineers, managers, and leaders.
