• Hands-on experience designing automated testing frameworks (unit/integration/E2E).
• Strong observability practices: logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring and alerting.
• Experience designing reliability patterns for distributed systems (fault tolerance, retries, resilience).
• Ability to lead a small engineering pod and manage contractor resources while contributing as an individual contributor.
• Experience operating cloud-native apps on Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Clear communication of operational risks and engineering tradeoffs to leaders.
