Abbott in California seeks a Principal Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud-native platforms for digital health and regulated medical software. You will lead architecture and drive engineering excellence across AWS, Kubernetes, and automation while remaining hands-on.

You will mentor teams, define platform standards, implement GitOps, CI/CD, Terraform IaC, and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and cybersecurity standards in a fast-moving, collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Extensive cloud architecture and enterprise-scale systems experience.
• Hands-on with EKS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and modern CI/CD.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives and shaping technical decisions.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture, design, and operation of cloud-native platforms on AWS.
