Job summary

Dow's Senior Operations Performance Engineer role at the Polyurethanes Systems House in Marietta, GA drives safe, reliable, and profitable operations across production and logistics through leadership, data analysis, and continuous improvement. You will optimize plant performance, analyze quality and logistics data, and implement measurable improvements.

You will lead during unplanned events, commissioning, start-up, and project handovers, partnering with maintenance and process-expertise teams

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to safely work in a plant environment with PPE.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and categorize production losses and process deviations to identify opportunities.
• Analyze operational, quality, and logistics data to validate results and drive actions.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement improvements that enhance utilization, uptime, quality and reliability.
• Lead capital and non-capital projects and support plant and technology objectives.
• Provide leadership during maintenance, unplanned events, commissioning, start-up, and handovers.
