Job summary

Corteva is seeking a Performance Engineer in Valdosta, Georgia to drive operational improvements, reduce losses and maximize plant P&L. You will own troubleshooting, data analysis, and corrective actions while collaborating with operations, maintenance and R&D teams.

You will lead root-cause analyses, apply SPC concepts, and mentor colleagues in problem-solving while ensuring safe, efficient production and adherence to Corteva engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial preferred).
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Technical excellence and ownership.
• High interpersonal effectiveness to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Actively support EH&S initiatives and drive safety excellence.
• Lead improvement projects and prioritize losses.
• Understand process tech and control tech.
• Own and eliminate production losses (utilization, yield, uptime).
• Record and analyze deviation data and determine corrective actions.
• Review logs to identify reliability issues and causes.
• Communicate technical information to plant personnel.
• Coach others in advanced troubleshooting and SPC knowledge.
