TORKLAW seeks a Pre-Litigation Attorney in Chicago, IL, to own personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This in-office, full-time role offers a competitive starting pay of $150K+ DOE and a path to growth within a nationally respected firm.

You'll lead case strategy, review medical records, negotiate with carriers, and collaborate with a team to maximize outcomes for clients while upholding our commitment to expert, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Active attorney in good standing
• Illinois personal injury law knowledge
• Strong negotiation and client-service skills
• Ability to manage complex caseload
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of personal injury cases from intake through settlement
• Develop case strategy and drive case forward
• Analyze medical records and evidence
• Draft and review demand packages and legal documents
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Evaluate settlements and advise clients
• Collaborate with legal assistants and other team members
