TORKLAW in Chicago, IL is seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in plaintiff personal injury to join our team. The role offers hands-on trial experience and the opportunity to work on meaningful cases under seasoned attorneys.

You will manage cases from filing to verdict, conduct thorough investigations, draft and oppose motions, and maintain clear client communication. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, with 3+ years of personal injury experience and at least 3 civil juries.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for client communication.
• Licensed to practice law in the applicable state.
• 3+ years of personal injury experience with a focus on trial work.
• Minimum of 3 civil jury trials to verdict.
• Strong knowledge of state personal injury laws and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in legal contexts.
• Ability to manage cases and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Help manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution.
• Conduct thorough case investigations to establish liability and assess damages.
• Draft and file key litigation documents, including discovery motions.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop and execute case strategy.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients through each stage of litigation.
• Gain hands-on experience handling complex and high-value litigation matters.
• Continue developing litigation skills through mentorship and ongoing professional growth opportunities.
