Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Abernathy is seeking a Pipefitter Supervisor to coordinate and direct craft personnel on construction and maintenance tasks. You will work under the General Foreman and Superintendents, guiding crews to safely meet schedules and quality standards.

The role requires extensive hands-on trade experience, ability to read blueprints, develop work plans, and enforce safety policies while reporting progress daily.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in layout, installation, construction and maintenance tasks.
• Possess valid drivers’ license with a good driving record.
• Must pass Saulsbury Industries safety training and drug tests.
• Ability to promote and adhere to environmental, health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct craft personnel to complete construction and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Develop effective work plans and assign instructions to work crews; supervise their activity.
• Read and visualize objects from blueprints with attention to detail.
• Estimate labor, materials, and equipment needed for assignments.
• Inspect and test completed work ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and quality controls.
• Prepare daily reports; maintain inventory and records.
